Visitors to the South of France often opt for  private tours. French Riviera   provides private tours to Monaco, Nice, and Cannes; but what other destinations are available?

St Paul de Vence

The French village of Saint Paul de Vence is really lovely. That city on the French Riviera is steeped in history. Parisian artists of the Roaring Twenties often visited Saint Paul de Vence in search of tranquilly and new ideas. Marc Chagall (who was ultimately laid to rest in Saint Paul de Vence) and his contemporaries Paul Signac and Modigliani also found the area to be inspiring. The hotel, La Colombe d’Or, where many of the artists of the time period resided amassed a world-class collection of their work. While large numbers of tourists are to be anticipated in this city, it would be a shame to pass up the chance to see this remarkable location.

Eze Village

Picturesque as can be is the village of ze Village on the French Riviera. The beautiful scenery there has made it a famous tourist spot. The mediaeval walls that enclose the town of Eze are a key part of the town’s charm, as they are in many other Southern French communities. It has quickly become one of the French Riviera’s most popular destinations. You may come here to experience the same awe that brought Walt Disney and the philosopher Nietzsche here. It is also home to the Fragonard Perfume Factory, where guests may have a guided tour and shop for some of the finest fragrances in the world.

Saint-Raphaël

Saint-Raphal, a town in the French Riviera not far from Frejus, is a renowned tourist destination. Thanks to Mayor Felix Martin and famous poet Alphonse Carr, Saint-Raphael became a major city in the second half of the nineteenth century. Saint-Raphael’s mild Mediterranean climate and hard-working residents have made the city a popular vacation destination for A-listers and high-profile figures. The entire world took notice in 1799 when Napoleon returned to Europe through the port of Saint-Raphael. Tourists have flocked to Saint-Raphal ever since, and you shouldn’t miss out on your chance to experience this hidden gem for yourself.
